COVID-19 Shipping Information
COVID-19 is causing shipping delays for the entire sporting goods industry, especially ammo/firearms/accessories. Before you place an order, please be advised that it could take up to 10 business days before it ships. (Business days for us are Monday-Friday.) Most orders are shipping sooner than this, but depending on the volume of orders we receive on a given day, 10 business days is the maximum time we currently expect for an order to ship after being placed. As you may have seen on other retailer's websites, this is quite common with even Amazon having significant shipping delays.
Since Mid-March, sales volume for our industry has spiked about 400%. This has caused a log jam of orders with suppliers. Not only are suppliers working through these backed-up orders, they're also trying to do so under state and federal guidelines for social distancing.
DACK Outdoors does not stock any products displayed on our website at our location, just like many of our competitors. Instead, our online inventory is a representation of what our suppliers have available at the time. We then have those suppliers fulfill the orders at their warehouses, which are located all across the U.S.
What this does is allow us to keep our overhead low and thus our prices low. Around the first of April, we started lowering our prices on most products to help make up for these shipping delays. Again, these delays are being experienced by the entire industry and there's unfortunately not much we can do to speed up the process, though we truly want to.
The great news is that most of our suppliers have got through the biggest back log of orders and we fully expect orders to start shipping sooner in the future. When that happens, we will update this page.
If you do place an order, please note that we will send tracking information automatically to your email once the order has shipped. Also, to speed up orders as much as possible, we may have your order shipped separately if it contains multiple items.
So that we can provide the best customer support possible, we ask that you please give your order 10 business days before inquiring about the status.
